Access Bank Ghana has attained ISO certification following months of rigorous assessment.

This certification exercise was carried out by SGS Ghana and accredited under United Kingdom Accreditation Scheme (UKAS).

[contextly_sidebar id=”bNh5ud4im4UpVBfguNJWRaNV09OFC27m”]The Bank was awarded the certification after meeting the requirements of the internationally respected Quality Management System (QMS) standards-measuring instrument ISO 9001:2008.

The implementation of the ISO certification is an attestation that Access Bank has an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in place and is committed to ensuring continuous improvement of the Bank’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) and processes.

Areas of the Bank’s operations reviewed as part of the certification process include its Corporate, Commercial, Personal and Business banking divisions, Branch Services, Corporate Counsel, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Financial Control and Strategy, Treasury, General Resource Management and the 24/7 Customer Contact Centre.

The ISO certification, which is valid for a period of three years is subject to satisfactory surveillance audits and will also be used as a quality management measuring tool.

The tool will be used to evaluate Access Bank’s ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues and prescribe necessary remedies to ensure that their needs and expectations are consistently met and surpassed.
