Seventeen (17) people have so far been rescued from the rubble of the three-storey building which collapsed at Cantonments on Saturday.
This was confirmed to Citi News by the Greater Accra Regional Police PRO, ASP Effia Tenge.
It is believed that one other person is trapped under the debris.
The three-storey building collapsed on Saturday afternoon.
Some of the workers and eye witness have attributed the collapse of the building to weak pillars which they say gave in to the weight of the building.
