The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tema Central constituency, Kofi Brako has won the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries in the constituency.
He polled 315 votes against his closest contender, Ramseyer Agyeman Prempeh who polled a paltry 95 votes.
Agyeman Prempeh,despite some concerns raised has promised to work hand in hand with the winner.
Mr. Brako has also declared his willingness to work with everyone to ensure that the party retains its seat in the 2016 elections.
In a related development, Carlos Ahenkorah has defeated the NPP incumbent MP for Tema West, Irene Naa Torshie Addo.
Carlos Ahenkorah polled 503 while Naa Torshie Addo had 273.
The other contender Adwoa Amoakoa had 2 votes.
