The New Patriotic Party ( NPP) will hold its parliamentary primaries in the Klottey Korle constituency on Sunday, 2nd August, 2015.
“The New Patriotic Party wishes to inform all party faithful and the general public that per the court ruling dismissing injunction applications, parliamentary primaries will be held in the following constituencies this coming Sunday, 2nd august, 2015,” the statement signed by the General Secretary of the NPP, Kwabena Agyepong said.

The elections was scheduled to take place last Saturday but it was suspended after some aggrieved members of the party secured an interim injunction.
The motion was served after one of the main contenders, Nii Noi Nortey was accused of presenting fake certificates to the Vetting Committee of the NPP.
The aspirant is alleged to have presented a certificate from the University of Ghana which some have claimed was not authentic – claims Nii Nortey says “have no merit.”
The party further asked “Constituency Election Committees of these Constituencies to liaise with the respective District Directors of the Electoral Commission for the selection of appropriate venues and to ensure the smooth conduct of the Primaries.”
