New Edubiase ensured they avoided a defeat for the third game running after a Latif Anabila strike ensured that Edubiase recorded a double over Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians went down to a 15th minute goal by Fuseini Nuhu who scored his 11th goal of the season but managed to restore parity with an equalizer from young Kenneth Okoro five minutes later as he fetched his first goal of the season for the Rainbow club.
But then, Latif Anabila’s beautiful volley gave the Yenkonkoaa lads the match-winner in the 73rd minute.
The defeat meant Hearts of Oak remain on 29 points after 24 round of games while Edubiase move 33 points having played the same number of games.
