Deputy Chief Physician at the Clinic, Stella Asiamah made the appeal when the Minster for Transport, Dzifa Ativor and her Deputy, Joyce Bawa Mogtari donated some items, including disinfectants, medicines and detergents to the clinic.
The donation was in fulfillment of a promise made by the two when they visited the facility a few days before.
Joyce Bawa Mogtari who made the presentation, called on staff at the facility to be dedicated to their work despite the challenges.
She promised to help raise needed funds to address some of the challenges facing the hospital, including the purchase of a generator set.
Madam Asiamah who received the items expressed their gratitude, but added the clinic needed more of such donations to function effectively.
“As you can see, we do not have light today…if we had a generator, it will be very welcomed”, she said.
She said they used to rent generator sets for their work but could no longer afford to.
