The First Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama, has presented a new double cabin Nissan Navara pick-up to Dormaa Presbyterian Midwifery Training School in the Dormaa Central Municipality.
The donation was in fulfillment of a promise made by the First Lady when she visited the school to inaugurate a newly constructed student hostel facility, named after her.

He said the First Lady decided to provide the pick-up as an interim measure as plans for a bus are being worked on.
He disclosed that within two months, there would be a ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a two storey hostel facility to be funded by Mrs Mahama, which would be an extention of the Lordina Hostel facility.
He added that tender for the project has been completed while evaluation is at the regional level.
Mr Asubonteng indicated that the Municipal Assembly has resolved to phase lift the Osagyefo Agyemang Badu Junior High School to include nursery and kindergarten as part of efforts to promote quality education.
Principal of the School, Hilda Commey, thanked the First Lady for honouring her promise and expressed optimism that other pledges would be redeemed.
