A third suspect, Musah Issah arrested in connection with the death of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper East Regional Chairman, Adam Mahama has been arraigned’
Issah who allegedly bought the acid used for the attack on the late Adam Mahama was put before a Magistrate Court on Wednesday.
He has been charged with abetment of crime and murder.
According to the Police, Issah who is a driver and a member of the NPP, on the 19th of May 2015 solicited and procured acid which he gave to other two suspects who in turn poured the acid on Adam Mahama.
Gregory Afoko, the younger brother of National Chairman of the NPP Paul Afoko and Asabke Alangbiho have already been put before court for the murder of the Upper East chairman of the NPP.
Musah Issah has been remanded in police custody for further investigations after a request for bail was denied by Justice Worlanyo Kotoku.
Adams Mahama was attacked with acid on his way home on the 20th of May 2015 by two people and later died of extensive acid burns.
