Majority of the Police officials have left the area. There were about 50 policemen stationed there but they realized that the situation was out of control and they were overwhelmed. When the youth started throwing stones at us, we had to run for our lives,” Badu Jnr reported.

They also served notice they will vote against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government it fails to meet their demands.
“The youth here are very, very angry and they are saying nothing will stop them from demonstrating today until the demolishing comes to a halt…until something is done about it, it might escalate into a dangerous situation,” he added.
