Three Nigerians have been arrested for suspected fraud and for allegedly possessing forged documents of some state institutions such as the Electoral Commission, the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Immigration Service.
They are Attiti Best, Iduh Joel and Solomon Eseoghene all aged 27.
Addressing a press conference in Accra on Monday, the Deputy Commander of the Accra Regional Police ACP Timothy Bonga said on 26th June, the three were arrested by the Police in a house at Dome.
“The police acted swiftly by dispatching a team of Policemen to the location and managed to arrest these three suspected fraudsters operating with their laptop computers. The teams retrieved eight laptop computers and were brought to the command for investigation,” he said.
He added that three suspects had admitted to the crime and added that the suspects will be placed before court after investigations are completed.
