Lead Counsel for the Palestinians struggle in the Middle East, Ramazan Anturk is asking Benjamin Netanyahu’s newly formed coalition government to recognize the Palestinian State.
He is of the view that the just ended Israeli election results which retained Benjamin Netanyahu does not mean the much anticipated peace talks in the Middle East is doomed.
Dr. Ramazan Anturk exclusively spoke to Citi News in Istanbul-Turkey on the sidelines of a breakfast meeting with some African Journalists.
The Professor of Law and a founding partner of the Elmadaglaw firm noted with deep concern that Palestinians have over the years suffered from more casualties as a result of the Israeli air and land strikes.
According to him, Palestinians could no longer continue to have uncertain future on their land of birth because of the construction of new settlements by the Israeli government.
He implied that the recurring land dispute between the Palestinians and Israelis which continued to affect more lives and properties should be considered as global catastrophe.
He therefore called for combined efforts by the superpowers to find a lasting solution to the dispute.
He emphasized the need for the Palestinian and Israeli authorities to deepen their peaceful co-existence.
Yemen and Syria crisis.
Dr. Ramazan Anturk called for total ceasefire in Yemen and Syria.
He condemned the Saudi led Coalition’s bombardment on Yemen which has so far caused hundred deaths and the destruction of properties worth millions of Dollars destroyed.
He insisted that every effort must be made to end the “needless” suffering inflicted on the civilian population in Yemen and Syria.
He pledged the Turkish government’s commitment to develop new relationship with peace loving world leaders to mitigate the ongoing conflicts in Yemen, Syria and the rest of hotspots in the Arab World.
He further challenged leaders of the Arab World to expunge their territorial and doctrinal differences and unite to zealously safeguard Islam.
