The Police Hospital Administration has announced that some departments at the hospital will be closed to the public from Friday, May 22 to Monday, May 25.
[contextly_sidebar id=”qRGaHQFpHfjMhyFRjKp0KOOhEV5bMsql”]A statement signed by the Director General of the Public Affairs Department of the Ghana Police Service, DCOP Rev. David Nenyi Ampah-Bennin explained that the closure is due to the periodic works ongoing at the hospital.
He further explained that the closure is to enable the hospital undertake a periodic renovation works for efficient service delivery.
The affected units and departments are the Accident and Emergency Ward and the Out Patients Department (OPD).
DCOP Ampah-Bennin however assured the public that arrangements have been made to ensure patients are attended to and where necessary, referred to other medical facilities for attention.
“While soliciting for the cooperation of the public for a successful exercise and improved service, the Police Hospital Administration wishes to apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
The Police Hospital will however be fully opened to the public on Monday, May 25.
