Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has stated that the Chairman of Economic Community of West African States(ECOWAS), President Mahama and Ghanaians are committed to putting helping ebola stricken countries to recover.
He made this statement on Saturday when he met the President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma during a stopover at the Kotoka International Airport.
[contextly_sidebar id=”Zz0kx4mKE6r8QLG5FKJbPMke54ZsqBwa”]Briefing the press on his arrival from Zambia, President Koroma stated that he was in Ghana for a brief stopover after attending an African Union summit Union Committee of Ten on the UN Security Council Reform in Zambia.
President Ernest Koroma stated that the AU aims to promote and canvass the African Union`s common position in the UN Security Council reform negotiations.
The Vice President also paid a visit to the Atta Mills Farm in Shama in the Komenda Eguafo District in the Central Region.
Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur made the stopover on his way to Accra, from the 2nd forum on the implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy (SSPP) that was held in Takoradi.
The Vice Presdient explained that he stopped to motivate the workers as well assess the state of the farm.
He commended the workers for the good job that they are doing in the area especially keeping the vision of late President Mills.
The Atta Mills farm owned by the late President Mills and his family.
