Citi FM’s Family Day Out attracts thousands of people

Several families were given an opportunity to kill stress and have fun at Citi FM’s Family Day Out. The Citi Family Day Out, which climaxes the annual Citi FM Family Month brought together families who had journeyed from far and wide to have a good time with the wider Citi FM Family.

There were exciting activities such as karaoke, soccer, swimming, chess, ludo, musical chairs, food fair, treasure hunt, video games, and others to entertain and engage participants.

The venue was filled with the voices of children cheerfully playing, singing and happily bouncing in castles.

The adults also played ludo, chess, draught, volley, cards and other engaging games while they enjoyed the sight of their children having fun.

Some of the people who attended the event expressed their excitement saying it gave them an opportunity to spend time with their families and friends.

Fans of Ghanaian artistes Kontihene and Gasmilla were given a special treat by the two.

They thrilled the fully packed venue to their hit songs and the audience sang along enthusiastically, hit after hit.

Kontihene kicked in the performances with ‘Asesa’, performed other hits like ‘Aketesia’, ‘Migizigi’, ‘Aso’, ‘Esi’ and the new hits ‘Dedeede’ and ‘Juju’.

The crowd was treated to some of Gasmilla’s hit songs like ‘Letter to the Government’, ‘3 points’ and his latest, which is making waves across the country ‘Telemo’.

Individuals and families interviewed after the event called for more of such events, to enable them take time off work and spend quality time with family and friends.
