After enjoying a ‘dumsor free’ Easter with four full days of power supply, some Ghanaians took to social media on Tuesday to ask the Electricity Company of Ghana to put the lights off.
[contextly_sidebar id=”FDB8uYbHZZ3DErNqzUL6c9bpmygNVbN0″]Over the holidays, the lights stayed on across most parts of the country because the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) bought power from neighbouring Ivory Coast.
Most Ghanaians are now apprehensive they will be plunged into darkness again soon but have been very sarcastic about it on social media.
