The software engineer whose platform was used during the SRC elections at the University of Ghana has alleged that his arrest was politically motivated.
He told Citi News that his arrest was an attempt to run down his business as well.
“Because of politics some think you are a bad person and try to run down your business. It can only happen in this country when young people want to create jobs then they want to destroy it,” he stated.

The reason behind his arrest is sketchy but reports from campus indicate that Stephen Forson, was arrested for allegedly swapping the results of the elections held last week.
According to his critics, he caused one Mikdad Mohammed to lose against the perceived favourite Fobi Ohene Davis.
The results, as declared by the Electoral Commission of the school last week showed that Davis polled 4,933 representing 76.6% against Mikdad’s 1,511 representing 23.4% of the total valid votes counter.
