Hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese will today walk free after serving a day’s jail sentence at the Kumasi prisons.
Emmanuel Botchwey spent the night in prison yesterday after he was sentenced by a Kumasi High Court.
The court ordered him to pay a fine of GHc1,200 or in default serve a three year sentence with hard labour.

While on remand, he shuttled between jail and the hospital.
He has since pleaded not guilty in the matter even though the prosecution said in one of the court appearances that medical tests on the musician have revealed he had smoked the substance.
He subsequently initiated a campaign aimed at warning the youth against the use of narcortic drugs.
