The First Capital Plus Premier League returned this weekend after a week break, and a produced a total of 16 goals.
In Obuasi, defending league champions Asante Kotoko could only pick up a point against New Edubiase despite holding a 2-1 lead at the 80th minute. Aminu Dramani scored with virtually the last kick of the game to deny David Duncan his third win as head coach of the Porcupine Warriors.
Asante Kotoko lie 9th on 19 points while Edubiase are 14th with 17 points.
Far away in WA, league leaders AshantiGold saw their six points lead at the top of the league table cut to 3 after a surprise 1-0 loss to All Stars. Kweku Baffour scored for All Stars with the goal.
The Miners stay top of the log with 28 points and All Stars have 20 points are 6th.
In Kpando, Hearts of Lions could only huff and puff but Liberty stood their ground and picked up a point after a goalless game.
Lions have 20 points and are 7th on the table and Liberty are 11th on 19 points.
Elsewhere in Dorma Ahenkro, Black Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams was in inspiring form to help Aduana Stars nick a priceless 1-0 victory over Bechem United courtesy a Richard Addai goal.
Aduana Stars are second with 25 points and are 9 points ahead of Bechem who are 15th on 16 points.
Whiles Aduana Stars were wining relegation, threatened BA United give themselves a chances of survival with an impressive 2-1 win over regional rivals Berekum Chelsea.
B.A United are bottom with 13 points and Chelsea are 8th on 19 points.
In the Western regional derby, Hasaacas and Medeama played out a four-goal thriller with both sides getting two goals each. Nathaniel Asamoah and Hans Kofie each scored for Medeama whiles Emmanule Akobia also scored twice for Hasaacas.
Medeama are 4th on 20 points and Hasaacas are 12th on 18 points.
At the Tema Stadium high flying Inter Allies were brought back to Earth by a very spirited performance from West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) who had Martin Atwi scoring the only goal.
Inter Allies have 20 points and they lie on 5th spot while WAFA are 3rd with 24 points.
But the game of the weekend came on at the Accra Sports Stadium where Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics renewed their intense capital rivalry.
But after 90 minutes of compelling action neither side was able to grab the headlines with the game ending 0-0.
Hearts are 10th on 19 points and Olympics are 13th on 17 points.
