“I have always said the NPP’s biggest bane is the disunity among us and it is important that going into 2016 elections we forge ahead in unity. Our difference, personal differences, selfish interest shouldn’t be placed beyond the party because if you have the youth united then obviously you will have a successful primaries,” he added.

For his party, the NPP constituency youth organizer for Bawku central, Jacob Zens Haruna said “some of the youth are unhappy with the past executive. I don’t know why because I’m a newly elected executive but I want them to come together and we seek for forgiveness, whatever happened they should forgive one another.”

“Our vision is for 2016 and Isha-Allahu the seat, with unity we will win all the presidential and parliamentary seats and Isha-Allahu who ever emerges as winner from the primaries, we will work with the person. We will not be divided but come together and take the seat from Mahama Ayariga [incumbent MP for Bawku Central].”
