The Police have arrested five more suspects including two serving Police officers in connection with the recruitment scam which occurred recently.
Director-General in charge of Public Affairs at the Police Service, DCOP David Ampah Bennin announced this at a press conference held on Thursday.

The others are a radio presenter of Silver Radio Amos Brown, 40 years, who the Director General of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service David Nenyi Ampah-Bennin, said “was arrested on March 4, for allegedly collecting various sums of money from about forty (40) people in Takoradi” under the pretext of helping them to be enlisted in the Police.
Richard Harrison, 30years, lured others for over GH¢4,000, and a pastor Paul Danso. This brings the number of arrested suspects to a total number of seven. The investigation is being led by the Commandant of the Police College DSOP Bright Oduro.
Meanwhile, one Aisha Asumda, a 36-year-old lady, has been identified as the principal suspect behind the recruitment scam.
Hundreds of people were at some five police training depots last Saturday for enlistments into the Ghana Police Service.
However, the purported enlistment turned out to be scam.
DCOP David Ampah Bennin said they have started processing all arrested persons connected to the scam for court.
