Black Stars head coach Avram Grant is not ruling out the possibility of inviting new players into the team ahead of the team’s upcoming international friendly matches.

Meanwhile earlier, sources at the GFA had hinted to Citi Sports that Mali had agreed to play the Stars.
“The door will be open always for new players but I think the players that you saw at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) are the best for the upcoming years of the Black Stars,” Grant said this at a press briefing on Tuesday.
“It will not be all of them but 60-70 percent will be in there if they continue to show quality, development, good mentality and good spirit they will continue because this is their time but the door will be open for other players, I think you will see,” he added.
The first friendly match will be the Black Stars first game after winning silver at the recently held AFCON in Equatorial Guinea.
When grant arrived in Ghana to start work as new Black Stars coach he said, “I am hoping to inspire a new generation.”
