Government today launched and started the implementation of an E-Cabinet platform, effectively eliminating the manual distribution of cabinet documents and embracing technology in the conduct of cabinet business.
President John Dramani Mahama, who launched the E-Cabinet Platform, said its introduction would not only enhance the efficiency of cabinet and ministers but also allow for the real time dissemination of information on developing agenda and documents.
The platform provides for an electronic archiving of cabinet papers with ease.
The President encouraged all ministers who are not yet fully conversant with the platform to do so, indicating that all announcements and documents will be distributed via the platform for the next Cabinet meeting.
