Engineers of Surfline Communications are working around the clock to restore network services after Sunday’s fire.
“We have a team of engineers there, engineers with the Fire Service and experts from the ECG , they are all on the ground making sure the thing comes up as soon as possible” , Head of Brands Communication at Surfline Ghana’s, Edwin Amoako confirmed to Citi Business News.

A statement from the company on Monday assured customers that it was working to restore service on its network.
It is unclear yet what might have caused the fire but unconfirmed reports say it was due to a major power outage.
Speaking to Citi Business News, the Head of Brands Communication at Surfline Ghana’s, Edwin Amoako said the company is trying to assess the extent of damage caused by the fire.
The fire, started at Dennis House, the building that houses the Surfline data centre In Tema around 4pm yesterday February 1.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service responded swiftly to put the fire under control.
