Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has been named in Ghana’s starting line up against Cote D’Ivoire in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
Gyan missed out on the semi final encounter against the hosts, after sustaining an injury in the quarter final clash against Guinea.

Striker Kwesi Appiah will also be making his third straight start for the Black Stars in this tournament ahead of Jordan Ayew.
Ghana will be looking to end a 33 year old Nations Cup trophy drought.
The last time the two teams met in the final of the competition was in 1992 when the Elephants won after 11-10 penalty shoot out.
