Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee chairman Prosper Harrison Addo has sent out a stern warning to Ghanaian football clubs to adhere to regulations stipulated by the Association or face sanctions.
Addo speaks ahead the 2014/2015 Division One season which will begin on Saturday and Sunday 21/22 February in all three zones.
Speaking to Citi Sports, Addo warned the Premier and Division One clubs to get more information about the rules that govern the football association in order to escape severe punishments from the Disciplinary Committee.
“Football is played with rules and the Ghana Football Association has a number of them and it falls on the clubs to have people within the clubs who know these rules and understand them very well.” he said
“These are the rules that we (Disciplinary Committee) use to … cases that come before the association. If need be, they should seek assistance to understand these rules because I would apply them to the very end,” Mr Addo added.
Meanwhile the First Capital Plus Premier League is currently in session with Ashanti Gold on top of the league standings with 18 points.
