Roads and Highways Minister, Hon. Inusah Fuseini has added another traditional authority to his political credentials with his enskinment as Lamashegu-Malizaa-Naa, literally (development oriented chief).
As a new title, the chief of Lamashegu, Naa Ziblim Abdulai bestowed the blessing on the Tamale central Legislator.
The nobility was in appreciation of the Roads and Highways Minister’s contribution to national development especially the Northern Region.
He was consecrated and confirmed into the chieftaincy realm in line with best practices of the Dagbon Traditional Area.
Hundreds of people from all walks of life witnessed the occasion at the Lamashegu- Naa’s palace in Tamale.
The memorable event formed part of activities marking the 2015 Damba Festival.
Malizaa-Naa Inusah Fuseini’s responsibility is to lobby for more development projects and galvanize people for constructive purposes.
Elated Malizaa-Naa Inusah Fuseini exclusively told Citi News his elevation was a clear demonstration of his positive stewardship.
He reiterated his commitment to promote peace, development, unity and reconciliation in the Dagbon Kingdom.
He also promised to build on the traditions and values of the Dagbon Kingdom as best means of leaving a remarkable legacy for the younger generation.
Some onlookers as well as well wishers and family relations said the Tamale central Legislator deserved the honor.
There was traffic congestion within the enclave of the business capital city when Malizaa-Naa’ Inusah Fuseini’s convoy combed the principal streets of Tamale in a jubilant mood.
