The Police administration has said it will increase its visibility across the country as it rolls out new programmes for the year 2015.
According to the Service, it will deploy more officers unto the streets to check criminal activities.
The country has in recent times recorded a number of armed robbery cases that have led to the death of some people.

A similar incident happened in Accra where a 32-year-old Stanbic Bank worker was killed at Batsonaa in Accra.
Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese’s manager Fennec Okyere was also killed in a similar fashion.
A security analyst, Kwesi Anning recently predicted that the rising spate of brutal killings in the country would increase.
However speaking to Citi News, the Director-General of Police Public Relations, DCOP Ampam-Benin said such criminal activities will be reduced because the Police Service will deploy more men to the field.
“We are going to do better in 2015 and ensure that the visibility patrol is extended to every suburb and hook and liner of the country. The presence of the Police is enough[ to control the situation]” he stated.
He said the Police is also taking measures to reduce the increasing spate of criminal activities in the country, saying “every 100 meters you see a Policeman, the visibility patrols are there and so you can see the Policemen are in charge”
