The General Overseer of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has said he will not respond to his detractors again.
Addressing his congregation on Sunday, Obinim said “God will intervene for us, I won’t speak again.”
The church leader’s comments follow a recent spat he had with TV personality, Afia Schwarzneggar.

Her criticism, which went viral on social media, was in reaction to tirade of scathing verbal abuse directed at her by the pastor during a church service.
Using a biblical reference to explain his position, Obinim said, “Even Jesus who never married or had sex with anyone was accused of rape and several other crimes at his trial before his death ”
“If you are a man or woman here, why must you be worried about what is written against you? Even He (Jesus) was accused. What was more painful against him was the rape charge; when He never married,” he told his congregation in a televised service.
The infamous pastor also attacked former President Jerry John Rawlings among others.
He said, “you Rawlings, all the nonsense you spoke about me is captured on a video on my phone. Your own people called me to tell what you said about me and advised that I shouldn’t mind you. Because of the respect I have for you, I didn’t say anything. I respect you and all my pastors respect you so respect yourself as a former President.”
Obinim has been in the news for other reasons including an alleged attack on an Accra based radio station, Hot FM in 2011.
He was alleged to have stormed the studios of the station in the middle of a programme to assault the host and vandalise the studio.
