New Black Stars coach Avram Grant has announced that he is willing to give midfielders Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng another chance in his set up.

Responding to questions at Avram Grant’s unveiling in Accra, the Israeli coach said: “The door is open for everyone- they need to show they are willing to play – If they are willing to sacrifice then the door is open to them.”
His predecessor Kwesi Appiah was strict on how regular a player plays in his club before he gets a call up, but Grant told journalists that his player selection will be based on “Quality, strong character and willingness to sacrifice for the nation.”

”I’m very happy to take the Ghana job which is a big challenge.”
Speaking about Ghana’s Group C members in the impending Africa Cup of Nations, Grant said: “I like to win and we will do everything we can to win the 2015 AFCON, but that is not the main thing.”
“It has been mentioned that it’s the group of death but I must say we want to live, not die,” he stressed.
