The Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mahama Adams has insisted that President John Dramani Mahama is on the verge of dragging the country into a ditch hence charging Ghanaians to vote out the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from office come 2016.
He said, “my sisters and brothers if we don’t do the right thing in 2016 the NDC will drive Ghana into a big ditch we cannot come out [of].”
Mr. Adams made the comment when he was addressing the Navrongo branch of the NPP after a health walk exercise aimed at improving on their health status as well as mapping up strategies to win the Navrongo seat and the presidency for the party.
[contextly_sidebar id=”lG8g95e4ZzbsBocNJ5FOi2XKWn4u78dm”]He said “a government that claims is a social democrat has collapsed almost all the social intervention [programmes] by former President John Kuffour. Where is the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), School Feeding Programme, National youth employment, Nurses and teacher trainees allowances?”
Mr. Adams called on President Mahama to ensure that all state monies wrongfully paid to individuals and institutions such as SADA, GYEEDA, ISOFOTON, Woyome and others are retrieved.
Mr. Adams who launched NPP’s Navrongo branch 2016 campaign said “2016 elections is not do or die matter, it has to do with mobilizing the people, it has to do with talking to the grass root people of the party and Ghanaians.”
The organizing chairman for the health walk, Stanislaus Pwazura said, after restructuring the party ready for victory 2016, it was necessary to exercise their bodies to burn out some accumulated fats and keep their bodies fit ready to walk the NDC to exile.
Mr. Pwazura added that, the party intends to move to all polling stations to address all concerns that caused a defeat for the party in 2012 and make sure such does not happen in 2016.
