President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr Abert Brown Gaisie as the new Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service.
[contextly_sidebar id=”iQWndDthxJw4GgNj0UTUjZmhtB3JOAiR”]He takes over from the Acting Chief Fire Officer, Bridadier-General John Bosco Guyiri who has been asked to proceed on his compulsory retirement.
This was stated in a press release signed by Deputy Interior Minister, James Agalga on behalf of the substantive Minister.
Dr Gaisie has served as a Regional Commander of Greater Accra, Ashanti and Eastern Regions.
He has also served in several capacities in the Ghana National Fire Service as the Director of Rural Fires, the Director of Research, Development and Monitoring and util recently, the Director in charge of Operations.
