Kwaw Kese’s lawyer, Nana Kwasi Boaitey, earlier argued that the speculation by the police that the substance was Indian hemp was not enough for the court to deny the accused bail.
But the court deferred ruling on the bail application till December 8, 2014.
Major stakeholders in the music industry have since his arrest, made calls for the release of the musician.
Former hiplife artiste Lord Kenya, now Evangelist Lord Kenya, while agreeing that the law must take its course, urged authorities to apply a human face to their decisions.
