Embattled hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese has been granted bail.
His lawyers managed to secure his bail ahead of his next court date on January 5.
[contextly_sidebar id=”JFCxTShzFO3vcFVAqcZybD0pbUmugRwu”]Kwaw Kese, born Emmanuel Botchway was arrested for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be Indian hemp in public, at a drinking spot close to the popular ‘+2 Pub’ in Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.
Both the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Circuit court and the Kumasi High court had refused the artiste bail four consecutive times.
His last appearence in court on December 23, Kwaw Kese pleaded with the judge to grant him bail but his application was denied
Since his arrest on Saturday, November 22, he has been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) on two occasions for severe stomachache.
As at Monday, December 29, he was still on admission and was responding to treatment.
