Group Chairman of Kasapreko Company Limited (KCL)Dr Kwabena Adjei has promised to go the extra mile despite the company’s exploits in the beverage manufacturing industry.
Few weeks ago, the company’s flagship brand-Alomo Bitters was adjudged the number one herbal drink (Medicinal Herbal Drink of the year 2014) by the Institute for Government Research Leadership Technology in its Africa Product Forum in Abuja.
The feat notwithstanding, Dr Kwabena Adjei has said his outfit would not be complacent but will rather delve deeper into research in the manufacture of its products.
In a presentation ceremony of its award (Certificate and a crystal plaque) at the Nigerian High Commission last Thursday, the Kasapreko boss pointed out that “We will not drop the ball; we will do more
research now, maintain the standard and possibly take it a notch higher.
“We are encouraged and humbled by this honour. We will continue to set the pace, we started as a small entity but now rub shoulders with multinational companies.
“We were recently named among the first five most emerging brands in the world by CNN Money Research, and that has emboldened us to move higher in every aspect of our production.
“Our products are hundred herbal based and we have a special seal to distinguish our authentic products from the rest. We are already in the US and Nigeria, we will soon move to Spain and some Francophone
countries.”
Nigeria High Commission to Ghana Hon Ademola Duseyi Onafowokan lauded Kasapreko for distinguishing itself in the beverage manufacturing industry.
He charged the company to reach out to other markets due to the fact that it is a production of African authentic label.
“I was shocked when I realized Alomo Bitters was manufactured by a Ghanaian company, that made me visit their factory and it was very clean and impeccable.
“Alomo has since been my reference point, your product is authentic, healthy because it is made of herbs, and am proud its coming from West Africa,” said Hon. Ademola.
