The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo Addo is promising to run a clean and issue-based campaign ahead of the 2016 elections.
Nana Addo said the era where a campaign is run on insults should be a thing of the past.

“We must translate the hardwork, the passion of the internal battles to the 2016 Parliamentary and Presidential elections. I promise I’ll provide the leadership. I’ll listen and I’ll work hard. Let us agree to work with each other. Let us believe the fundamental truth that we are all working for the same goal to win the elections and put the NPP administration in place to govern this country.”
Nana Addo eased to victory with 94.35% of votes during the party’s National Delegates Congress while his biggest opponent Alan Kyeremanteng only managed a 4.75% at the party’s recently held congress.
Nana Addo and his vice presidential candidate say the Mahama-led administration has failed to provide the “Better Ghana” and have urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP.
Dr. Bawumia recently criticised the government for what he described as its “reckless borrowing”,which has compounded the economic challenges Ghanaians are facing.
