Former Attorney General and Minister of Jusitice, Betty Mould Iddrisu has been elected as Vice chair person in the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
[contextly_sidebar id=”VoZpbpKZ99fyJssbCPG09eZqCLzGZwEr”]She was elected along with six others by delegates of the NDC in Kumasi.
The others include, former Local Government Minister, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Harry Zakour, Anita De-Sosoo, Alhaji Said Sinare and Ambassador Lee Ocran.
The delegates voted for the six persons out of the fifteen candidates that contested for the position.
Meanwhile, Kofi Portuphy, the National Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) was elected as the new chairman of the party with about 2,457 votes.
Kofi Adams has also been elected as the new National Organizer for the NDC.
