Barcelona’s Lionel Messi will take to the pitch against Sevilla needing two goals to break the Spanish scoring record – for the fourth game in a row.
The Argentine is one short of Telmo Zarra’s 251 league goals but has not scored in his last three La Liga games.
Coach Luis Enrique says Messi, 27, is happy at the club despite the forward hinting he might move on one day.
“I’ve only heard Leo saying that he is delighted at Barca and that there is no problem at all,” Enrique said.
“I am not interested in the speculation and the opinions. I just hear the message from him that he is happy and proud to play for Barca.”
During the week, Messi said that he would like to stay with his only senior club but added that “sometimes not everything happens in the way you would like”.
However his father also played down any talk that the forward, who could have joined Arsenal as a youngster, could leave.
Barca are in second place, two points off Real Madrid, while fifth-placed Sevilla are only two points behind the Catalans.
