From his days as a reporter, he was taking SOLI; then when he became EDITOR, he was DEMANDING soli at any program he visits to the extent that he threatens not to publish stories which soli was small. Is this not BRIBERY and CORRUPTION and STEALING? Why blame event organzers who even do not SMILE at any journalist they are forced to give SOLI to. This is NONSENSE coming from a Gen. Sec of GJA.

They linger around acting like a HUNGRY child who has seen a friend or somebody holding bread and which he/she would like a part of it. It is a shame; and the earlier they stopped the better it will be for them.

But, this practice cuts across other areas too; even NOT exempting pastors who after performing a function at, even, a sister church, would like to be given ‘something’ for transport. THESE THINGS MUST STOP.

Is it because is about journalist that is why you are trying to justify wrong doing? So, if a police officer also demand money from a complainant to go and buy petrol into an official car to go and effect arrest does that constitute a bribe or a politician demanding money from someone before he approves a document or a pastor demanding money from his congregants before praying for them or a trotro mate demanding money from a passenger before securing him/her a better seat or an engineer demanding for money from a contractor before visiting a site to inspect work etc?
