Not by anyone other than Ghana’s own parliamentarians. People who are expected to sit together to discuss issues concerning the people of Ghana. Spending previous time debating over a crime that an individual committed. The minority sees this as a fine opportunity to get at the government. what does that make of our parliament, is the question that needs an answer. If they are so desparate to take the seat of government, it must be done in a more matured manner. I honestly don’t want to sound abusive but I am forced not to hide the fact. The fact that both majority and minority in parliament must realise that they are peoples’ parents who are expected to behave not to the destroy their family images but to make them look proud of having them representing their various constituencies. What is the sense in carrying bags of rice to parliament to discuss issues concerning drug crime? Does that add in anyway to nation building? For Christ’s sake our parliamentarians must show more political maturity than what they are exhabiting to the outside world. Drug dealers are arrested everyday in other parts of the world and how many of us hear about most of them? Please be reasonable in dealing with issues concerning the state and stop these childs’ play. Make us “Proud to be Ghanaians” than this shameful situations you are rather creating for us. Thanks!
