The Police Administration has said pressure group Alliance for Accountable Governance(AFAG) breached rules for demonstrations during its recent “aagbe w)” demonstration.
AFAG staged a demonstration last Wednesday to protest poor living conditions in the country.

The police say the decision by AFAG not to comply with their rules also triggered some security challenges.
Speaking to Citi News, the Greater Accra Regional Commander, DCOP Christian Tetteh Yohunu said :“the group on Wednesday 12th November, 2014 defied rules agreed upon between the Police and their leadership and went through a croweded business district area, raising serious security concerns.”
“The Accra Regional Police has cautioned AFAG to desist from violating terms and agreement finalized with the Police when embarking on demonstrations as it takes serious view to the behavior displayed during the AFAG demonstration ,” he added.
He therefore cautioned the group to avoid breaching set rules in future demonstrations since such acts will not be tolerated.
“The Police will also want to use this opportunity to advice all indentifiable groupings and individuals who intend to embark on demonstrations in the future to comply with all agreement and arrangement with the Police as deviation from such terms will not be countenanced.”
