By kind courtesy of United Through Sport Ghana and its partners, three (3) talented youth Ghanaian footballers are currently on a training tour in the United Kingdom.
The three, Shaban Muntari, 16, Joseph Amoah, 16, and Abednego Ashitey, 17, members of the United Through Sports Soccer Academy, are in the United Kingdom for six months and will be training with the youth teams of Portsmouth Football Club, Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and Scottish side, St. Mirren Football Club.
The Co-Founder and Director of United Through Sports Ghana, Mr. James Dzandza, revealed in an interview that the players are in good shape and have impressed the handlers of the youth team of St. Mirren Football Club, where they have been training for the last few days.
He further stated “I have no doubt this training tour is going to enhance the potentials of the players as well as give them a broader perspective of the changing world of football around the world. This is the first of several programs we will be introducing for our team. In the near future, we hope to see our United Through Sports Ghana youth teams participating in several youth football competitions around the world”.
United Through Sport Ghana also manages the Ghana Volunteer Project, a Ghanaian registered Charity and company that provides an exciting experience for volunteers to make life changing contributions to several Ghanaians as well as communities in Accra.
