All 113 polling station Women Organizers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tamale Central Constituency have declared their support for the party’s flagbearer hopeful, Nana Akufo Addo.

At a news conference addressed by the Tamale Central constituency NPP Women’s Organizer, Abdul Manan- Suraya, she cautioned delegates across the country against substituting Nana Akufo Addo.

[contextly_sidebar id=”xDybUEph8Iqi6YBnWYt6EwmjaconTpvR”]“Nana Addo remains the man who is well known and accepted by the NPP grassroots and any attempt to change him will mean NPP risks losing the 2016 elections.”

The Women Organizer described Nana Akufo Addo as a “well marketed and a time tested politician” who can win power for the NPP.

“Nana Addo has served Ghana for over 36 years in frontline politics and has shown his determination to leaving the legacy that can change the destiny of the good people of our country,” they added

Abdul Manan- Suraya commended Nana Akufo Addo for the confidence reposed in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate for 2016.

She noted that this means Nana Akufo Addo has “uncompromising love for northerners and the Muslim community in general.”

“Nana Addo has demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt his commitment to Muslims and for that matter northerners evidenced by his nomination of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate for two successive elections coupled with his vision to bridging the widening development gap between the north and the south.”

She assured Ghanaians that a Nana Addo-Bawumia administration will find solutions to Ghana’s economic challenges.

Some NPP bigwigs and groups including the Minority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and the Greater Accra Constituency branch of the party have all declared their support for Nana Akufo-Addo.
