A special assistant to Dr Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Mr Kwaku Ampaw is warning members of the Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) to stay out of his business.
AFAG protested the appointment of Dr Spio-Garbrah as Trades Minister, following accusations from the Minority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, that he[Spio Gabrah] lied to the Appointment Committee of Parliament during his vetting.
AFAG on Monday called on President John Mahama not to swear-in Dr Spio-Garbrah even though Parliament has vetted and endorsed him.
[contextly_sidebar id=”EntanfHiaYqE6RPoGgwuI1qoZoBOTC1i”]They described him as “block headed” and questioned his credibility saying, “it is worrying that a person who labelled, his soon to be colleagues; team B, could not justify the very reasons for labelling them so. Being “sorry” is not enough, the motive behind the call is one filled with hate, envy and the “pull him down” syndrome.”
They described him as arrogant and making inconsistent statements during his vetting in Parliament.
But speaking on Asempa Fm’s Eko Sii Sen programme on Tuesday, Mr Kwaku Ampaw warned AFAG to desist from making such comments about Dr Spio-Garbrah asking, “what has he done that no man on earth has not done before?”
He said it was surprising that AFAG described Spio Gabrah as “block headed” when he has held a number of high level positions both in Ghana and internationally.
