Musician Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has been sued by Lawyer Maurice Ampaw.
Maurice Ampaw’s action follows comments allegedly made by A-Plus on his Facebook page that described him as ‘dumb’ for his comments on the missing Castro saga.
Maurice Ampaw, the plaintiff, seeks an apology from the musician, an order to restrain him and GHc 1 million cedis in damages.
[contextly_sidebar id=”GfiYLB0RgIV5DehEYLbZkmVSoFB8XG0m”]A-Plus, after the initial post that referred to Maurice Ampaw as ‘dumb’, followed up with another (on October 10) in which he apologized for his use of ‘strong words’.
“Most people didn’t understand why I posted some of the things I posted on Facebook about Lawyer Maurice Ampaw. I agree that at a point I used some strong words like dumb which was below the belt and unnecessary. I sincerely apologize for that,” he wrote.
Maurice Ampaw is expected to address a press conference on the issue today.
