Kofi Jumah has denied the allegations leveled against him, claiming that the allegations were orchestrated.
The Public Relations Officer of the Ashanti Regional Police Command, ACP Mohammed Tanko told Citi News, his outfit has gathered enough evidence to prosecute the former Mayor of Kumasi.
“He has already been charged last Friday and he was released on bail to report on Tuesday for us to proceed to court,” he said.
ACP Tanko narrated that after the complaint was made, Jumah was heard on a local radio station boasting about physically assaulting the complainant.
