The Electoral Commission (EC) will start exhibiting the voters register from Friday, October 24 to Thursday, October 30 at all polling stations throughout the country.
The exercise will offer all registered voters the opportunity to check their names and particulars in the voters register as well as make the necessary corrections should there be a need.
It will also help the EC clean the register by taking off names of unqualified people, such as minors and non-citizens, from the register; and also remove the names of dead people.

The Commission is however appealing to the public to help it clean the register by volunteering information of dead relatives so that their names could be taken off the register.
“Cleaning the voters register is a collective responsibility and therefore every registered voter must be interested in inspecting the register during the exhibition.”
The public is also advised to endeavour to go with their voter ID cards to facilitate easy checking of their names.
The exhibition will start at 7:00am and close at 6:00pm each day throughout the revision period, including Saturdays and Sundays.
