The authorities of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has announced that the 2014/2015 academic year will begin next week.
The strike by university lecturers forced all public universities across the country to indefinitely suspend re-opening date.
UCC indefinitely postponed its re-opening date due to what it describes as “circumstance beyond control”
UCC was initially scheduled to re-open school on the 2nd and 9th August, 2014 for fresh and continuing students respectively.
But following the cancellation of the UTAG strike on Wednesday, public universities are scheduled to resume.
