The Minister of Health, Dr. Kwaku Agyeman Mensah has criticized individuals who have expressed their doubts about test results of the suspected cases of Ebola in the country.
Medical tests were carried at the Noguchi Memorial Institute in the Greater Accra region after suspected cases of Ebola were recorded in the various regions of the country.
Tests at the Institute proved that none of the suspected cases in the various regions was Ebola.
Some Ghanaians have however accused the Institute of falsifying the results of those cases.
Speaking after a tour of the facility on Monday however, the Health Minister said he is convinced about the credibility of the Noguchi Memorial Institute.
The Minister therefore urged Ghanaians to accept results produced by Institute since its credibility has been certified by WHO.
“I am telling Ghanaians that we can accept and we should accept results that Noguchi produces. We should count ourselves lucky that we have a reputable institution like Noguchi, certified by WHO,” he said.
