Transport fares increased by 15%

Drivers will be forced to stop charging unapproved fares – GPRTU

The road transport operators in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport  have sanction a 15% increment in transport fares effective Monday, July 14.

This is according to a press statement signed by the general secretary of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), Stephen K. Okudzeto and General Secretary of the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC), Alhaji Aliu Baba.

The new transport fares cover Intra-City (Trotro), Inter-City (Long Distance), Taxi Cabs.

Click on attached file for the review fare prices as approved by the Ministry of transport , GPRTU and GRTCC.
