Parliament on Wednesday approved a $156 million loan facility to be sourced from the World Bank to finance the Ghana Secondary School Education Improvement Project.

Part of that amount would be used to buy sanitary pads and other essential school items to be distributed for free to school girls.

The decision has however generated public debate and concern as some have expressed fears the project will pave the way for corruption and embezzlement of funds.

The show discussed the reason behind government’s decision to spend part of the loan to secure sanitary pads for female students.

Many events turned out at the World Cup Tournament. Sports Journalist, Godfred Akoto Boafo and Nana Agyemang gave highlights on how the Tournament fared.
